Wash your hands thoroughly before touching the mask.
Inspect the mask for any damage or tears. Do not use a damaged mask.
Orient the mask so that the stiff, bendable metal edge is at the top. The colored side usually faces outwards, away from your face, while the white side touches your skin.
Unfold the mask completely to create the 3D "bird beak" shape.
Position the mask over your mouth, nose, and chin. The bottom of the mask should extend under your chin, and the top should be at the bridge of your nose.
Place the ear loops around each ear to secure the mask in place.
